  • What's included in the registration fee?

    Your convention registration package includes:

    • Convention welcome bag with goodies
    • Light Dinner on Friday, Breakfast on Saturday & Sunday, Lunch on Saturday
    • Two-night hotel stay (Friday to Sunday)
    • Professional and personal development workshops
    • Annual Community Service donation
    • Opportunities to meet members from all across the nation and more!
  • What if I want to bring my family, friends, additional guests?

    If you plan to attend with family members, friends, or additional guests, alumnae members may register under the Single Occupancy option. This selection provides a private room reserved exclusively for you and your guests. Please note that only individuals who are officially registered for the convention are permitted to participate in convention events and activities.

  • Why is there a Community Service donation included in my registration?

    The Community Service donation is included in your registration to support Lambda Theta Alpha’s mission and our commitment to service. By including this donation, we ensure that our National Convention not only brings members together but also advances the work and values of our sorority through meaningful service and collective impact.

  • How many members are staying in each hotel room?

    Your convention fee includes lodging. If you choose quad occupancy, your room will have a total of four registered members, with bed-sharing required. For double occupancy, your room will have two registered members total each having their own bed, and for single occupancy, you will have a room to yourself.

  • May I choose my roommates?

    Roommates will be assigned randomly. However, during registration, you may indicate one person you would prefer to room with. While we will do our best to honor these requests, we cannot guarantee that all preferences can be accommodated. Please note, a $25.00 administrative fee will apply to any roommate change requests made after registration is finalized.

  • If I registered for convention, can I change my room from a quad to single occupancy? If so, how much would this cost?

    There are limited opportunities to upgrade your room to a double or single occupancy at additional costs.

  • Once I register for convention, how will I know who my roommates are for the weekend?

    Upon check-in to the hotel, you will learn who your roommates are for the weekend. We suggest searching them in the attendee area on the Whova app and sending them a message. This will allow you to familiarize yourself with each other upon arrival if you are arriving at different times.

  • Is there a Convention registration package with no lodging this year?

    No. There is no convention registration package without lodging available this year. All convention registrants are required to select one of the lodging options as part of their registration.

  • Once I pay for convention registration fee, what additional expenses should I plan for?

    At a minimum, you should plan to pay for transportation to and from the airport and dinner throughout the weekend. Additionally, there will be a variety of vendors throughout the weekend selling LTA paraphernalia.

  • Is there a template I can use to solicit sponsorship from my university or employer?

    The 2026 National Convention Committee has developed a template that you can use to request sponsorship from your university or employer.

  • I registered for convention, but I just found out that I can no longer attend. May I transfer my ticket purchase to another sister?

    Once you have registered for the convention, a $25 administrative fee will be assessed for any ticket transfers. Additional fees may apply if the person you are transferring your ticket to has a higher member registration fee. For example, if you paid the active quad occupancy rate but are transferring your ticket to an inactive sister, the difference in registration costs will also be assessed.

    The last day to complete a ticket transfer is April 15, 2026. Transfers requested after this date will incur a $50 fee and will only be allowed for emergencies.

  • I registered for convention, but I just found out that I can no longer attend. May I get a full refund?

    No. Refunds will not be issued once you have registered. Your only option is to do a ticket transfer (please refer to the previous question for details).

  • I am unable to attend convention until Saturday, do I still have to pay full price?

    Yes! Unfortunately, we cannot offer daily rate options.

  • I am a new member attending convention, are there any specific events or workshops I must attend?

    Attendance to all official convention events will be required of new members. Required schedules for new members will be available on the website as prophyte requirements and also on the mobile app as we near our 2026 National Convention.

  • What clothing should I pack for official convention related activities?

    Friday - LTA Para/Casual Clothes
    Saturday - Business Casual
    Sunday - White Attire (Dress, Skirts, Slacks)

  • What if I need to make changes to the information in my registration?

    If you need to update information on your registration please email; events@lambdalady.org. If you require refunds of tickets outside of your convention registration, they are subject to the discretion of the VPF and events chair. In the event of incorrect registrations requiring refunds, members will be responsible for a service fee.
