The PEI Committee has received several interests from members that cannot attend in Selma, AL this year! Although we do hope to have as many members as possible join in person, we have a virtual option for anyone who is not able to attend. This can be a great way to engage in the community, serve as a recruitment event, and raise awareness of Voter Rights.

Every year the Bridge Crossing Jubilee, Inc., hosts the commemoration of this historic event and the struggle for the right to vote by gathering at the foot of the Edmund Pettus Bridge in a festival of music, art and historical remembrance. Please visit the Selma Jubilee website to learn more information.

Grab friends and family, and join us as we commemorate the fight for voting rights! If you cannot attend in person, we are encouraging members to either have a virtual march in person or a civic day of action! Send pictures to PEI so we can amplify your efforts!

#FollowMeToSelma and remember to tag @LTA1975 !

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to PEI@LamdbaLady.org.
