  • What's included in the registration fee?

    Each convention package registration will receive:

    - Welcome bag with goodies

    - Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday

    - Lunch on Saturday

    - Two-night hotel stay (Friday to Sunday)

    - Professional and personal development workshops

    - Opportunities to meet sisters from all around the nation and more!

  • How many sisters are staying in each hotel room?

    There will be four sisters per double-bed room. This will be strictly enforced. Rooms found to have more than the assigned roommates are subject to additional fees and other consequences.

  • May I choose my roommates?

    Your roommates will be randomly assigned. During registration, you will have the opportunity to name one sister that you would like to room with. Providing a name is a suggestion.  We cannot commit to be being able to accommodate all requests. A $25.00 administrative fee will be charged for any roommate change requests made after your registration is completed.

  • If I registered for convention, can I change my room from a quad to single occupancy? If so, how much would this cost?

    There are limited opportunities to upgrade your room to a double or single occupancy at an additional costs.
     *Single Occupancy - Additional $174 per night (Friday - Sunday Total: $348)
    *Double Occupancy - Additional $58 per night (Friday - Sunday Total: $116)

  • Once I register for convention, how will I know who my roommates are for the weekend?

    Upon check-in to the hotel, you will learn who your roommates are for the weekend.

  • Is there a Convention registration package with no lodging this year?

    For the 2020 event, there are no plans to offer a no lodging option.

  • Will there be a Welcome Reception on Friday?

    This year, we will not be having a welcome reception on Friday. Instead, we are hosting our 45th Anniversary Banquet. You must purchase a ticket to attend banquet.  Discounts are available for convention registrants.

  • Will food be served on Friday?

    No, we will not be providing food within your convention registration package for Friday evening.

  • Is the 45th Anniversary Banquet ticket included in my convention registration package?

    No, you must purchase a ticket for this event. It is NOT included in the convention registration package. Discounts are available for convention registrants.

  • Once I pay for convention registration fee, what additional expenses should I plan for?

    At a minimum, you should plan to pay for transportation to and from the airport and dinner throughout the weekend. Additionally, there will be a variety of vendors throughout the weekend selling LTA paraphernalia.

  • Is there a template I can use to solicit sponsorship from my university or employer?

    The 2020 National Convention Committee has developed a template that you can use to request sponsorship from your university or employer.

  • I registered for convention, but I just found out that I can no longer attend. May I transfer my ticket purchase to another sister?

    Once you have registered for the convention, there will be a $25 administrative fee assessed for any ticket transfers. Additional fees may apply if the person you are transferring your ticket to falls in a higher fee class. For example, if you paid the new sister rate, but are transferring your ticket to an inactive sister, there will be an additional fee assessed for the difference in registration types. The last day to do a ticket transfer is May 15, 2020.

  • I register for convention, but I just found out that I can no longer attend. May I get a full refund?

    No. Refunds will not be issued once you have registered. Your only option is to do a ticket transfer (please refer to previous question for details).

  • I am unable to attend convention until Saturday, do I still have to pay full price?

    Yes. Unfortunately, we cannot offer daily rate options.

  • I am a new sister attending convention, are there any specific events or workshops I must attend?

    Attendance to all official convention events will be required of new sisters. Required schedules for new sisters will be available on the website and also on the mobile app as we near 2020 National Convention.

  • What clothing should I pack for official convention related activities?

    Friday - Banquet Attire & Casual Clothes
    Saturday - Professional Business Attire & Casual Clothes
    Sunday - White Attire (Dress, Skirts, Slacks)
