What's included in the registration fee?
Your convention registration package includes:
What if I want to bring my family, friends, additional guests?
While we understand this event presents a wonderful opportunity to bring your family, please note that additional guests will need to secure accommodations outside of the event's registration process. Alumnae are welcome to select the non-lodging registration option and arrange alternative accommodations independently.
Why is there a Community Service donation included in my registration?
This year, we are incorporating our annual community service donation into the registration process to ensure all contributions are gathered before the event. In past years, collecting donations at registration posed challenges. As a reminder of our organization’s commitment to charitable giving, we are including this year’s donation in the registration fee.
How many members are staying in each hotel room?
Your convention fee includes lodging, with options based on room occupancy. If you choose quad occupancy, your room will have a total of four people, with bed-sharing required. For double occupancy, your room will have two people total, and for single occupancy, you will have a room to yourself with no additional guests allowed, as resort fees will apply.
Please ensure the number of people in your room matches your registration, as additional guests will incur extra fees. A $25 administrative fine will be applied for any adjustments required due to discrepancies in room occupancy.
May I choose my roommates?
Roommates will be assigned randomly. However, during registration, you may indicate one person you would prefer to room with. While we will do our best to honor these requests, we cannot guarantee that all preferences can be accommodated. Please note, a $25.00 administrative fee will apply to any roommate change requests made after registration is finalized
If I registered for convention, can I change my room from a quad to single occupancy? If so, how much would this cost?
There are limited opportunities to upgrade your room to a double or single occupancy at additional costs.
Once I register for convention, how will I know who my roommates are for the weekend?
Upon check-in to the hotel, you will learn who your roommates are for the weekend. We suggest searching them in the attendee area on the Whova app and sending them a message. This will allow you to familiarize yourself with each other upon arrival if you are arriving at different times.
Is there a Convention registration package with no lodging this year?
Yes, we are offering non-lodging options to our ALUMNAE MEMBERS only. All Undergraduate Members will not have the non lodging option.
Once I pay for convention registration fee, what additional expenses should I plan for?
At a minimum, you should plan to pay for transportation to and from the airport and dinner throughout the weekend. Additionally, there will be a variety of vendors throughout the weekend selling LTA paraphernalia.
Is there a template I can use to solicit sponsorship from my university or employer?
The 2025 National Convention Committee has developed a template that you can use to request sponsorship from your university or employer.
I registered for convention, but I just found out that I can no longer attend. May I transfer my ticket purchase to another sister?
Once you have registered for the convention, a $25 administrative fee will be assessed for any ticket transfers. Additional fees may apply if the person you are transferring your ticket to has a higher member registration fee. For example, if you paid the active quad occupancy rate but are transferring your ticket to an inactive sister, the difference in registration costs will also be assessed.
The last day to complete a ticket transfer is April 15, 2025. Transfers requested after this date will incur a $50 fee and will only be allowed for emergencies.
I registered for convention, but I just found out that I can no longer attend. May I get a full refund?
No. Refunds will not be issued once you have registered. Your only option is to do a ticket transfer (please refer to the previous question for details).
I am unable to attend convention until Saturday, do I still have to pay full price?
Yes! Unfortunately, we cannot offer daily rate options.
I am a new member attending convention, are there any specific events or workshops I must attend?
Attendance to all official convention events will be required of new members. Required schedules for new members will be available on the website as prophyte requirements and also on the mobile app as we near our 2025 National Convention.
What clothing should I pack for official convention related activities?
Friday - LTA Para/Casual Clothes
Saturday - Resort Chic (Alumnae Social - Gold Attire)
Sunday - White Attire (Dress, Skirts, Slacks)
