We are proud to partner with the Lambda Theta Alpha Foundation in their mission to advance the community. As one of our National Philanthropies, we commit to provide $25,000 for the mission of The Foundation.
The Foundation was founded in 2015, based on the desires and needs identified by the National Board and Founding Mothers of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. They identified the need to create a foundation where members and the community could contribute and benefit from its support.

Educational Programming
The Foundation offers educational programming grants to provide financial support to student-led initiatives across the United States (high school to higher education) dedicated to implementing events to educate communities on various topics.
Scholarships
The Foundation provides annual scholarships for students pursuing education at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels. They award $1,000 scholarships to 17 students who demonstrate commitment to advancing their community.
Humanitarian Relief
The Foundation raises funds to provide for the immediate needs of those impacted by a natural disaster. Awards can be used to purchase food, hygiene products, and/or temporary shelter. Support is provided on a rolling basis.
The LTA Foundation provides annual scholarships to students pursuing education at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels. The LTA Foundation strives to award seventeen $1,000 scholarships every year. Over the last three years the LTA Foundation has awarded over $50,000 in scholarships!

On Saturday, June 26, 2021, the LTA Foundation hosted their third annual 1.975 Run: Road to Resilience! The 1.975 Run was a virtual opportunity to run or walk from anywhere in support of the LTA Foundation. Last year, our organization raised over $5,000!
