The Feeding America network is rising to the challenge of feeding more people than ever during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Here are some things you might do as a volunteer:

  • Sorting and packing.
  • Assisting at mobile pantries, drive-thru pantries, and no-contact distributions.
  • Delivering meals.

Operation Gratitude oversees several projects that allow civilians to show gratitude and appreciation to military personnel and veterans all over the world.

  • Donate items or sponsor a collection drive to gather items that will be used to create care packages for deployed soldiers.
  • Write personal letters of appreciation to deployed troops, first responders, veterans or wounded heroes.
  • Make "paracord survival bracelets" for troops and first responders to wear or use in the event of an emergency.
  • Donate Beanie Babies or other stuffed animals to be used in care packages or to be given out to children who live in combat zones.

Volunteer Translator

Respond Crisis Translation offers pro bono translation of legal documents and testimonies and interpretation services for clients in detention centers in the United States and Mexico. Volunteers at Respond hope to give migrants and asylum seekers a fair chance to defend their claims and make their legal case to remain in the United States.
